Cloud Quill-o-ette

This project has been a long time in the making.

I made the paper cut for this piece in March 2018.

I then put it aside while I was busy with work and other projects. I've been looking forward to completing it, though, so I'm glad I finally made time for it.

Throughout the process, I would check to make sure that the colors were where I wanted them, by placing the papercut over the quilling.

The combination of tiny spirals with the more average-sized ones in this project help to fill in gaps in the clouds.

I used a variety of blues for the rest of the sky.

It took me three years...

But it's done!

And now framed, too!
