Stitched Sketch

 This is my favorite paper embroidery so far.

I debated between using black or white for the flower outline but ultimately went with black so that it would really stand out on the paper.

Like the image on the scrapbook paper that I stitched, the outline really looks like it was sketched. 

I used a backstitch throughout with French knots for the tops of the colorful stamen.
